It's A Wrap...Holiday Party!

Tis the season for family, friends and gift giving!  GIFT GIVING???  Oh yes, those gifts must be wrapped to keep the contents a secret until the big day!!  Turn this mundane task into a party...Invite your most trusted friends, to keep the secrets hidden benath the wrap, and join the fun that this party promises.

The Scene: (your holiday decorations will probably already be up...Just a few additions)

• Ribbons - (We chose Pink & Bright Green) Dangle curly ribbon streamers from the ceiling
• Bows - Everywhere...On the buffet table corners, hanging from the ceiling, piled in a clear fish bowl on the table to be used for gift wrapping
  
• Boxes - Small gift boxes hung from the ceiling with clear (monofilament) thread
  
• The buffet table - Draped in a holiday tablecloth
• Supplies and Tools for Wrapping - A wrapping station (ideal for storage year round), scissors, tape, tissue, boxes, wrapping paper (Have your guests contribute)
  

The Activities:

You guessed...It is all about the Wrap!

• Vote on:  The most creative, most colorful, most unique (this could be the ugliest, your pick), best wrap.  Prizes for all the winners.
• Wrap-it:  Have your guests pair up and blind fold one member from each team.  The team member without the blind fold must instruct their partner (verbal only) on how to wrap their box.  Each team will have a box, paper, tape, scissors, ribbon and bow.  First team finished wins!!
