Ok, this maybe the only time we say this....We actually prefer watching THIS football game in front of the TV.  Just think of all the cool new commercials those in the stands are missing out on!!  Invite your football lovin' friends over and party on....

The party begins in the mail...When the invited guests recieve the schedule for the game day party.  This invite says it all.
 
Include in your invitation; a request for your guests to wear the colors of the team they'll be routing for on the BIG game day.  Instruct them to be prepared to do their "touchdown" dance when their team scores!
 

Decorations

You have to check this out.... Everything you need for decorating and serving at your Super Bowl party– Banners, yard signs, plates, cups, table clothes, coolers and much, much more.  You name it and they have it.  
 
Add balloons (team colors, of course) to your yard sign and the food table.  If you know your guests will be divided between the two teams; set up the TV viewing room with one side of the room decorated in one team’s colors and the other side decorated in the opposing team's colors.

Activities

  • Score by Quarter - A great activity that everyone can participate in, even those few who may not really be football fans.
  • Remember the invitations you sent out?  Make sure your guests bring their tickets, required to enter the party.  Tear off the stub and put it in a hat for a half time drawing.
  • Have your guests choose the team they want to win.  Have a prize for all the guests whose team wins.
  • Half-Time Commercial Challenge - At the end of half-time give everyone a piece of paper and pen.  Have them write down as many of the ads as they can remember in 5 minutes.  The guest who gets the most correct wins a prize.  Just remember you have to be watching those ads... you'll be the judge!

Two hours before the party put the beer and pop into coolers and cover with ice.  By the time your guests arrive the beverages will be icy cold and ready to drink.
