“Cheers”- Guess which language"- Give each guest a sheet listing the foreign language equivalant of "cheers" on one side of the page and countries of the languages on the other side. Mix them up, so the corresponding country and language aren't across from one another. The person that guesses the most correctly wins

Ask guests to list Barbara Walter’s most interesting people of 2012- person who knows the most wins

Hire a local fortune teller to give your guests the good news about 2013
