Caramel Sundae in Gingerbread Cookie Bowl

A fun presentation for cookies and ice cream. The possibilities are endless...chocolate chip cookie bowl with a mouse munch ice cream sundae, sugar cookie bowl with a strawberry sundae, etc.
Slice of a half inch of cookie dough and flatten slightly. Turn a muffin pan upside down and cover each muffin cup with the cookie dough to form your cookie cup. Bake according to directions.
Remove from the oven let cool 5-10 min, remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack. Can be stored for several days in an airtight container.
When ready to serve place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in each cup, top with caramel topping, whip cream and sprinkles.
