Turkey, Brie and Cranberry Purses
Warm holiday flavors come through in these filo filled delights!

1 lb cooked turkey, cubed 1 cup brie, diced (easier to cut when cold from the refrigerator) 1/4 cup cranberry sauce 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped 9 sheets filo pastry (18" x 11"), thawed 1/2 cup butter, melted salt & ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, mix together turkey, brie, cranberry sauce and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Layer the 9 sheets of filo and cut into 4-1/2" x 5-1/2" squares. This will give you 72 squares and you will be able to make 24 purses.
Starting with three pieces (cover the remaining sheets with plastic wrap to stay moist) brush each layer with melted butter. Repeat with the remaining filo squares (3 squares per purse).
Evenly divide the turkey mixture amongst the 24 pastry stacks, placing the mixture in the center. Gather up the pastry edges, give a little twist, to shape like a draw string purse.
Place the purses on a baking sheet, brush with melted butter and bake for about ten minutes or until the pastry is golden and crisp and the filling warm.
