Strawberry Twinkle Twinkie Cake

This dessert was so so easy and just delicious.  Every child, young and old will love it.  Absolutely PERFECT for a little girls birthday party!

INGREDIENTS

9 Twinkies- sliced in half 
1 16 oz carton frozen strawberries with syrup- thawed
1 small container frozen whipped topping- thawed
Raspberries for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Line a loaf pan with foil, allowing a 4inch over-hang on either side of the pan (running lengthwise- this overhang will be used to lift the cake out of the loaf pan once constructed).  Place 6 Twinkie halves on the bottom of the lined loaf pan, placing them side by side, cut side facing up.  Spoon 1/2 of the strawberries over Twinkie halves.  Repeat with another 6 Twinkie halves and the remaining half of the strawberries.  Finish with a third layer of Twinkie halves, with the cut side facing down and "frost" the cake with frozen topping. Using the overhang(s) as handles; lift the cake out of the loaf pan and place on serving plate (either slip the foil out from under the cake, using a spatula.  Or, cut the visible foil from around the parameter of the cake).  Garnish with raspberries and serve.
