INGREDIENTS

2 chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces

1 medium negi (or green onion), cut into 3/4 inch pieces

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon sake

3 tablespoons mirin

3 tablespoons soy sauce

Bamboo skewers, soaked in water

DIRECTIONS
  1. Thread, alternating chicken and negi on skewers.
  2. In a small bowl; mix sugar, sake, mirin and soy sauce.
  3. Grill the skewered chicken over medium to medium high heat, basting with the sauce until the chicken is cooked.
