Apple, Blue Cheese & Walnut Tartlets

1 large apple, peeled and finely chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 t butter
1 c (4 oz.) crumbled blue cheese
4 T walnuts, finely chopped
1/2 t salt
1 pkg. frozen mini phyllo tart shells (1.9 oz.)
    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In a small nonstick skillet, saute apple and onion in butter until tender. Remove from the heat; stir in the blue cheese, 3 T walnuts and salt. Spoon a rounded T into each tart shell.
    3. Place tart shells on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle tarts with remaining walnuts; broil until golden (3-5 minutes) Watch closely!
