Crispy Pork & Spring Onion Parcels

Wonton Wrappers
6 ounces minced pork
1 tsp salt
2 T light soy sauce
1 tsp Pepper
3 garlic cloves
2 sprigs coriander (cilantro) leaves
1 spring onion
2 cups vegetable oil
2 T water
1 T vinegar
3 T sugar
1 t ground fresh chili paste
  1. In a small bowl, using a fork, mix thoroughly the pork, salt, soy sauce, pepper, garlic and coriander.
    Place 1 teaspoon of mixture into the center of each wonton.  Fold the wonton into a triangle shape, using water to seal the edges.  Bring the two opposite edges together and seal.
  2. Heat oil in wok, fry pan or deep fat fryer to 375 degrees.  Carefully drop pork parcels into oil and cook 2-3 minutes until golden brown.  Remove from oil and drain.
  3. Serve with Sweet & Sour Sauce: Mix together water, vinegar, sugar, and ground fresh chili paste.
