Set the Scene

Create "Wonderland" with these ideas....

Activities

  • "Who's got the Queen of Hearts??"- Place playing cards in envelopes; enough for each guest to receive one.  Make sure that one of the envelopes contains the Queen of Hearts.  Seal the envelopes.  Have guests open their envelopes at the same time.  The guest with the Queen of Hearts receives a prize!
  • "Unscramble your "Contrary-Wise" Name"- Scramble the first and last name of each guest.  Write the scrambled name on a sticky name tag and adhere each nametag to the lapel the guests.  Now each guest will have a (scrambled) name, other than their own, on their lapel.  The object of the game is for guests to find their own name.  The first guest to find their own name wins the game.
  • "A Blind Tea Tasting"- Set out a number of different teas and disposable cups.  On a chalk board write the names of the various teas being tasted.  Have guests guess which tea they're tasting.  The guest with the most correct answers wins a prize.
